Abstract

The author looks at the potential liability of commercial alcohol providers and social hosts for harm caused as a result of the provision of alcohol to customers and guests. An examination of the present US and Canadian law is presented before discussion of the development and future directions of an 'alcohol-service tort' in Australia.
