Abstract

Chris Humphry, of Hunt and Humphry Solicitors looks at the issue of compensation under the Native Title Act and contrasts the how it should work in theory verses how the process works in practice. The author examines the effect of statutes such as the Compulsory Acquisition Act and of issues such as multiple claimants over the same area of land.
