Report on Aboriginal Women and Bias in the Western Australian Justice System
Abstract
This is an account of the Sub-Committee on Aboriginal Women and the Law in the Taskforce which drafted a report into gender bias in the law and administration of justice in Western Australia in 1994. It looks into some of the recommendations for reform that could significantly reduce the many difficulties faced by Aboriginal women due to bias in the Western Australian legal system.
