Abstract

The book "The Incredible Woman" by Jocelynne Scutt details the author's work over the past twenty five years. The book is divided into two volumes dealing with: women and the judiciary, women and medicine, women and the economy and women and power. Scutt is also able to bring in perspectives that extend beyond her own legal background. The reviewer regards this book as beneficial for the novice feminist as it covers a number of issues that feminism must address. It is also beneficial for the more experienced feminist as it offers an insightful analysis into recent case decisions and legislation in Australia.
