Abstract

This article describes a CD-ROM game package titled 'Adventures in Contract Law' developed for students of law at City University in Hong Kong. The CD-ROM teaches through a board game and a crossword puzzle. It is designed to supplement student learning of contract law by acknowledging that many students are keen game players and sophisticated IT users. The main aims of the package are to make learning fun, to help students appreciate contract law as part of their lives and to take pleasure in the learning process. The author suggests how law teachers can use games, especially on-line games, to enliven their practice in the teaching of other legal subjects.
