Review of the Romanian Intellectual Property Law Regime
Abstract
This article surveys current laws regarding intellectual property rights in Romania. The author concludes that provisions of international treaties and the recently enacted Romanian domestic package of intellectual property regulations ensure a legal system suitable for the protection of the creations of human mind and for providing financial benefits to such creative endeavors. Some criticisms of the present system and suggestions for improvement are made.
