Abstract
Professor Valera-Suanzes outlines 600 years of British Legal Doctrine, specifically the changing concept of sovereignty in British Legal Doctrine from the days of Bracton to those of Dicey and including such eminent British Legal Scholars such as Hume, Hobbes, Locke, Mill, and Blackstone. The article discusses the changing perspective of where sovereignty reside and the relationship between the Monarch, the Commons, the Lords and the people.
