Abstract

This is one of three articles in this issue which examine the recent Canadian case concerning secession of the Province of Québec. In this article Dr Thomson reflects on the character of the Québec secession decision particularly when viewed from the perspectives of provinces and states in a federation and comparative constitutional law.
