Abstract

In October 1994, the Western Australian Commissioner for Equal Opportunity presented the State Government with a report recommending legislative reform to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. In this paper, the Commissioner assesses the impact of the report and briefly describes the legislative provisions already in place in other Australian jurisdictions.
