Abstract

The author reviews a recent Australian book that deals with the need to educate lawyers about a less hostile adversarial system. Discussion revolves around the less combative inquisitorial system, but falls short of satisfactory commentary on alternative dispute resolution. While there is need to debate the future of legal systems, there is little help to achieve this goal.
