Abstract

This article provides a brief overview of the financial market of the United Kingdom, with particular emphasis on the London Stock Exchange. Outlined is an interesting step by step approach for a foreign corporation which may be interested in launching their company onto the London Stock Exchange. Discussion also focuses on the different financial markets within the UK and how they are regulated. Also highlighted is the corporate crime of insider trading and how it is defined under British Law.
