Singapore office opening 800 x 480

In a ceremony marked by a traditional lion dance, Murdoch Singapore opened its new offices on Monday 7 October, 2024.

Located within the same building as the new Odeon 333 City Campus in Singapore (to be completed in January 2025), Murdoch's new Singapore offices will serve as a hub for students, researchers, alumni and stakeholders alike.

The new building is located in a prime area of Singapore, opposite the iconic Raffles Hotel.

The new premises were officially opened by Murdoch University Deputy Vice Chancellor Global Engagement Professor Simon McKirdy.

Professor McKirdy remarked that the launch of the new premises comes at a special time with celebrations of Murdoch’s 50th anniversary underway, after 25 years of the university operating in Singapore, and with the upcoming 60th anniversary of Singapore-Australia diplomatic ties.

Professor Peter Waring remarked, “We have come a long way from our humble beginnings, and this new office marks a significant milestone in Murdoch University’s engagement in Singapore”.

Murdoch University spans five campuses across three countries, offering a diverse range of learning environments and opportunities to collaborate. Find out more - Our locations | Murdoch University
