The School of Engineering and Energy congratulates our recent graduates, including staff members Dr Tara Zirakbash and Dr Arsalan Alavianghavanini and honorary doctorate recipient Adjunct Lecturer Craig Carter.
Academics, family and friends celebrated as our School's newest alumni received their awards from Chancellor Gail McGowan under the eaves of Boola Katitjin on Friday September 27th.
We were pleased to honour those receiving Bachelors and Masters awards alongside the School's PhD recipients Dr Arsalan Alavianghavanini, Dr James Kossen, Dr Christopher Oughton, Dr Dong Zhang, and Dr Tara Zirakbash.
Of special note was the awarding of a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) to Craig Carter, Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Energy. Craig's honorary doctorate is in recognition of his pioneering work deploying renewable energy technologies in Western Australia, and his contributions to renewable energy education at Murdoch University, from its inception over 25 years ago to now.
Congratulations again to all our graduates.
