How the Vet School Celebrated Harmony Week

On 21st March, students and staff from the School of Veterinary Medicine came together to acknowledge Harmony Week with lunch, games and a Harmony Handprint exercise.
Harmony Week is all about coming together and sharing the diverse culture that comes from all corners of the globe.
Our students and staff selected a paper hand, added details of their origins and heritage and a message of support for diverse cultures within our society. We heard about racism faced by Aboriginal people from our Waardong academic and reflected upon our own behaviours relating to racism and inclusion. And finally, we held the inaugural School of Veterinary Medicine Bingo Cup, which was won by a 4th year veterinary student. And the free lunch went down a treat!
