The Zenith Energy Women in Engineering Technology Scholarship 2025
The Zenith Energy Women in Engineering Technology Scholarship has been developed to support and encourage female students undertaking a course in engineering technology who have strong passion for being part of the energy transition.
The scholarship amount is up to $20,000. The successful recipient will receive $10,000 in their third year of study in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Honours majoring in either Industrial Control and Automation Engineering OR Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering. If the successful recipient decides to continue on and enrol in the Bachelor of Engineering Honours and study their Honours year in either Industrial Control and Automation engineering or Electrical and Renewable Energy engineering they will be eligible for a further $10,000.
In addition to the financial support, The Scholarship will provide the following support
- Paid internship with Zenith Energy
- Mentor
- Potential full-time employment with Zenith Energy on completion of study
Eligibility
To apply for this scholarship you must:
- be a domestic student
- identify as female
- be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology majoring in either Industrial Control and Automation engineering OR Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering in your third year or
- be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering Honours majoring in either Industrial Control and Automation Engineering OR Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering in your third year
- You will be eligible for the fourth year payment of $10,000 if you continue into the Bachelor of Engineering Honours and enrol in your Honours year majoring in either Industrial Control and Automation or Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Have a minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 65
- not be funded by an external scholarship

This scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:
- completed application form
- a personal statement of no more than 300 words addressing the following questions:
- Why did you choose to study engineering?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
- What do you know about Zenith Energy and how do you see yourself contributing to their mission?
- written reference/s (Academic and/or Community)
- a copy of your academic transcript
Payment Method
Payments will be made directly into your nominated bank account in the following instalments:
3rd Year
- $5,000 in week 7 or 8 of the semester you are awarded
- $5,000 in week 7 or 8 of the consecutive second semester
4th Year
- $5,000 in week 7 or 8 of the semester you are awarded
- $5,000 in week 7 or 8 of the consecutive second semester
All payments are subject to your ongoing acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.
