All students seeking entry to Veterinary Science at Murdoch University must undertake the Casper assessment. The Casper is an online assessment where you will be asked to respond to written and video based scenarios.
The assessment takes between 100-120 minutes, and testing sessions for Murdoch entry occur monthly from April to early August 2024. You can only sit the Murdoch Casper test once for 2025 entry. You will need access to a computer with a webcam and microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
The assessment costs $90, plus $16 per institution you elect to have your score distributed to. When registering for Casper, you will be able to select Murdoch University, plus any other university where you are seeking entry into Veterinary Science. Please register at least three days prior to the test date to ensure payment processing and applicant verification is successfully completed prior. Your results will be sent directly to the University by Altus Assessment, who run the Casper testing.
Please note that those requiring accommodations during the Casper test (for example, due to learning difficulties) should apply directly to Casper.
Please note that all applicants to the B1402 Bachelor of Science / Doctor of Veterinary Medicine course must complete the undergraduate Casper test.
