Celebrating MMFS Student Achievements

Summer Graduation and Annual Prizes Ceremony
Today marked an exciting day in our school calendar when we get to recognise and celebrate the success of our students and the combined efforts of students, academics and supporting staff.
Around 100 of our graduates, across a wide range of biomedical, molecular biology, forensic sciences and food science and nutrition received their certificates with a great sense of achievement. Each name called out was not just an individual success story, but also showed years of hard work, sacrifice, and support from families and friends.
In particular, we congratulate our graduates in Higher Degrees by Research:
Breanna Knight (PhD) - Investigating potential public health risks associated with domestic dogs
Alec Truswell (PhD) - Utilisation of robotics platforms to detect antimicrobial resistance in livestock
Laura Pember (Master of Forensic Anthropology) - Digital histology for the estimation of post-mortem submersion interval of bone.
Following the graduation, the Annual Prize Ceremony recognised exceptional students for their outstanding achievements in various fields.
