Elevating First Nations voices

Our First Nations team champions the success of staff and students across our community and guides the University on all Indigenous matters.

We work with teams across the University to provide culturally safe environments and embed Indigenous perspectives and Knowledges in everything we do.

Advisory Groups and Networks

Aboriginal Advisory Group

Our Aboriginal Advisory Group provides us with invaluable guidance from respected community leaders and Elders, ensuring that our strategies and activities align with community needs and respect Traditional Knowledges.

Karrak Network

The Karrak Network is our Indigenous staff body which fosters a supportive community within the university, facilitating dialogue and sharing insights that contribute to our collective mission.

First Nations Committee

Our First Nations Committee is a management group led by our Pro Vice Chancellor First Nations that ensures Indigenous perspectives are incorporated into high-level decision-making processes.

Student Ambassadors

Our Student Ambassador Program provides a platform for professional and leadership development while studying, with students engaged in events, workshops and community engagement as role models for future students and the wider community.
