We believe that university provides a pathway for Indigenous excellence.
Our students have gone on to lead major organisations, shape public policy and inspire others to pursue their dreams. At our Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre and School of Indigenous Knowledges, we welcome all walks of life to choose what their story will be.

Support for Murdoch students
Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre
The Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre is a home away from home for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The Centre provides support throughout the academic journey, whatever shape that takes. It’s where you can find a familiar face, cultural understanding and academic expertise to help you succeed.

Indigenous entry pathway
K-Track is our award-winning, free course that provides a pathway for Indigenous students to gain entry to university. Students are exposed to a range of areas to experience what studying an undergraduate degree is like, while providing a realistic and achievable pathway into university for those without high school requirements.

Scholarships and support
Our support staff are here to help you with academic, cultural and emotional support until you graduate. Whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student, you can access a range of supports and scholarships during your time here.
School of Indigenous Knowledges
Our School of Indigenous Knowledges shares knowledge generated by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, informed by Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing. Students can choose to add a minor or general elective to their degree to gain complementary and alternative worldviews to Western-based knowledge.
